FAQ
Pricing
How much does treatment with Sustained Recovery cost?
Sustained Recovery’s pricing is straightforward: $149/month. The $149 includes all medically necessary follow up appointments within the month that your payment is received as well as a drug screen that is mailed to your home. Your initial assessment does not begin until your payment has been made. Future monthly payments are due by the same day of each month. Recurring payments can be automated or made through your patient portal.
What is included with my payment?
All medically necessary appointments within the month your payment was received. Your payment also includes a drug screen (either urine drug screen or oral swab) that will be mailed to your home.
Can I use my insurance?
No. Sustained Recovery utilizes concierge pricing in which there is a monthly cash price. This price includes your drug testing and as many appointments in a month as you and your provider feel you need. Sustained Recovery is not contracted with insurance companies. Patients can use HSA accounts or print their payment from their portal and seek reimbursement from their insurance.
When is my first payment due?
Your assessment with the provider will not begin until your first payment has been made.
Are there any addition fees from Sustained Recovery?
If you are more than 10 days late beyond the expiration date of your prescription, there will be $29 fee, as this means you no-showed to an appointment and the provider will also need extra time to assess why you were late for your appointment and whether or not your prescription needs to be adjusted.
How much will my prescription cost?
Unfortunately, with our complicated health care system, that is difficult to answer. Prescription costs will vary based on your insurance, which pharmacy you select, and your prescription. Many insurances providers cover Suboxone or its generic, but if yours does not, or if you don’t have insurance, we recommend referencing resources such as GoodRx for price checking and coupon availability. There is also a savings card available through Suboxone’s manufacturer that you may be eligible for.
What happens if I can’t pay anymore?
Sustained Recovery is not able to provide service if you do not make your monthly payment. Please message us if you cannot make your payment. You will receive a final prescription and be provided with tapering instructions on your patient portal. Additionally, you will have access to numerous community resources through your patient portal for alternate treatment, including resources to Opioid Treatment Programs and inpatient treatment.
Are there any other potential costs?
The following services and/or charges are not included in the recurring fee: any laboratory testing completed by a third-party that is ordered by Sustained Recovery, the cost of prescriptions written by Sustained Recovery during medical appointments that are filled by your pharmacy, and other diagnostic or other testing ordered by Sustained Recovery.
